Shipping Rates

Overview

The Shipping Rates screen is opened when the user asks the program to obtain shipping rates for the internally-configured shipping carriers, such as UPS, USPS, or FedEx, from various locations within the program. For more information about those locations, see Accessing the Rate Shopping System.

Description of the Screen

Shipping Rates screen: FedEx shipping rates

USPS, UPS, and FedEx Carrier Selection Buttons

only one of the carriers can be selected at a time
click the appropriate button to see the rates for a given carrier
it may be necessary to use the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the screen

Use Selected Rates Button

after selecting a rate from the list of carriers shipping methods, click this button to use that shipping method for the current order
this button only applies to FedEx or UPS shipments
for USPS shipments, selects the radio button of the desired shipping method directly from the USPS site; however, SEOM does not know the method that was chosen by the user and the shipping method will have to be manually updated in the order

exit the Shipping Rates screen
