Install a New Version of Order Manager and Continue to use an Old Store Data File

  1. Follow the instructions for Installing the Order Manager.

    1. If you are installing the Order Manager on a brand new PC, copy the data file (e.g. Ajax Orders.mdb) from the old computer to the new one and save it in the c:\StoneEdge directory or the shared folder if you are using a networked installation of the program.

    2. When the Set up a new store now? dialog box opens, click No.

    3. When prompted, click Browse, navigate to the c:\StoneEdge directory (or shared folder) and select the appropriate data file.

    4. You see a message box stating that your store has been opened. Click OK.
