Setting Up an Americart (VirtualCart) Shopping Cart

The Order Manager can import Americart or VirtualCart web orders via the Internet. Follow the directions below to set up an Americart shopping cart into which you can import web orders.

 

**Important**: To use the Order Manager with Americart or Virtual Cart, you must notify Americart support or VirtualCart support that you want to use it with the Order Manager and they will configure your online store for you.

 

 

Set Up Shopping Cart

 

  1. You can access the Shopping Carts dialog box one of four ways:

 

 

  1. The Shopping Carts dialog box opens.

  2. Click Add Cart.

  1. Enter the store name. Note: The store name can be anything you want it to be as long as it is easily distinguishable from any other stores you may have.

  2. Click on the Cart Type drop down list and click on Americart. Note: If you are licensed to use one shopping cart only, you do not see a drop down list; Americart is your default cart type.

  3. In the CartID/User Name field, enter your Americart administrative user name, e.g. "a-5628".

  4. In the Cart Password field, enter your Americart administrative user password.

  5. Click Save.

  1. The cart is added to the Current Carts List: table:

 

 

  1. Click Close to exit the Shopping Carts dialog box.
