Setting Up a Heavy Metal Shopping Cart

The Order Manager can import Heavy Metal web orders via the Internet. Follow the directions below to set up a Heavy Metal shopping cart into which you can import web orders.

10/11/17: Heavy Metal Shopping Cart systems are no longer being marketed. They are being replaced by the Divinity shopping cart system, from the same vendor. Existing Heavy Metal Web stores will continue to function.

Set Up Shopping Cart

1. You can access the Shopping Carts dialog box one of four ways:

1. • Main Menu>Maintenance Menu>Setup Functions tab>Create/Edit Shopping Carts button

   • Main Menu>Maintenance Menu>Maintenance tab>Store Setup Wizard/Shopping Carts tab

   • Quick Clicks>Setup Wizard/Shopping Carts tab

   • Quick Clicks>Create/Edit Shopping Cart

2. The Shopping Carts dialog box opens.

3. Click Add Cart.

3. Enter the store name. Note: The store name can be anything you want it to be as long as it is easily distinguishable from any other stores you may have.

4. Click on the Cart Type drop down list and click on HeavyMetal. Note: If you are licensed to use one shopping cart only, you do not see a drop down list; HeavyMetal is your default cart type.

5. In the CartID/User Name field, enter your Heavy Metal administrative user name, e.g. "a-5628".

6. In the Cart Password field, enter your Heavy Metal administrative user password.

7. Enter the Script URL to the stoneedge.pl script file installed on your Heavy Metal website. The default is /cgi-bin/stoneedge.pl.

8. Click Save.

9. The cart is added to the Current Carts List: table.

10. Click Close to exit the Shopping Carts dialog box.
