PCI Security Standards Council
Bob Russo, the first general manager of the PCI Security Standards Council, will work with representatives from American Express, Discover Financial, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa International to drive awareness and adoption of the PCI Data Security Standard. Russo will report directly to the Executive Committee and be responsible for driving the organization’s policies, as well as meeting its goals to create education programs, establish pools of certified QSA’s and ASV’s and incorporate feedback from all stakeholders across the payment chain into the work of the council and the development of new standards.As part of his responsibilities, Russo oversees the PCI Security Standards Council’s training, testing and certification programs for Qualified Security Assessors (QSAs) and Approved Scanning Vendors (ASVs) and related staff, serving as a key resource for the certification process. He also coordinates research and analysis regarding PCI DSS, soliciting feedback from the vendor and merchant community, and driving recruitment of stakeholders as Participating Organizations in the Council.Russo brings more than 25 years of high-tech business management, operations and security experience to the PCI Security Standards Council.  Most recently, he served as the vice president of Commercial Sales for Secure Info, a provider of security, risk and compliance services and software. “Enterprise Version Round Table Discussion”
Presenter: Barney Stone
An open discussion about the Stone Edge Order Manager Enterprise Version. Experienced Enterprise Version users will talk about how they use the program, including hardware choices, customizations and integrations with other systems. That will be followed by open Q & A. Topics will include when to upgrade to the Enterprise Version, hardware and software requirements, maintaining and optimizing SQL Server, etc. Current Enterprise users should come away with useful information about ways to improve their operations. Other Order Manager users will have a better idea of whether and when they should upgrade, and what that will entail.

“Security”
Presenter: Kevin Horowski
If you worry that employees may have access to parts of the Order Manager that can compromise your business or that storing your customers’ private data in your database might be a security breach then this session is for you. We will cover a multitude of ways to safely store and manage both your customer’s and your own company’s sensitive and private information. A walk through of the Order Manager’s built-in security system will also be addressed including how to create users and groups as well as how to limit different areas of the program to particular users through group permissions.

“PCI Compliance”

Get details on the latest Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) adopted on October 1, 2008. Bob Russo, General Manager of the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council will be on hand to discuss the PCI-DSS Certification Process and provide information on current deadlines for PCI compliance for the merchant. They will also provide information pertaining to Payment Application Data Security Standards (PA-DSS) which impacts your order management software and possibly your website’s software.

“Purchase Orders & Drop-Shipping”

This session will be a complete tour through the wonderful world of managing your purchase orders and drop-ships. Find out how to automate the ordering process. Understand how to deal with ever-changing list of details that must be managed in the purchasing system. Find out what “loosely connected data” means. Find out how to order your product in lots. Find out how to manage your drop-ship orders using the Purchase Order System. Track what you have and have not paid for in the Purchase Order Invoicing system. Understand what this all means to your bottom line in your accounting application of choice.

“QuickBooks”
Presenter: Roxanne Brown
This session is devoted to the setup and operation of the Order Manager when working with Intuit’s QuickBooks. The Order Manager can send sales, deposit, receiving and invoicing data to a variety of accounts that you have defined in QuickBooks. Understanding which accounts to use, and why, is one of the highlights of this session, which is hosted by Roxanne Brown who is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She will also discuss a number of “gotchas” that merchants need to be aware of and what you will need to do to prepare for end-of-year and the quickly approaching tax season.
