Version Migration Service

The Stone Edge Technologies Version Migration Service (VMS) is a service to assist merchants with the installation and upgrade to new releases of the Stone Edge Order Manager, including an overview of new features and other major changes. 

The Version Migration Service will assist users in the following areas:

• Backup data files, custom reports, email templates, etc.
• Install the Order Manager on individual workstations.
• Oversee the initial launch to ensure that database changes occur smoothly.
• Test key components for proper function.
• If applicable, make sure that custom reports/forms/etc. import correctly. (Note: Additional custom programing fees may apply if code changes are needed to make custom reports work with the updated release.  Any custom programming may or may not be performed by Stone Edge Technologies and would be scheduled outside of the VMS session.)
• Provide brief overview of new/updated features in the new release.
• Provide a roll-back option if upgrade is unsuccessful for any reason.

Pricing:

$300 base price for the first workstation, plus $50 for each additional workstation.  All workstations running the Order Manager must be included in the service.
After-hours service is available on a limited basis at a rate of 1.5 times the standard rate.

The price includes up to three hours of assistance with the previously mentioned, plus 30 minutes for each additional workstation.  Stone Edge Technologies reserves the right to bill for time spent beyond three hours due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Stone Edge Technologies or the technician performing the service.  Please ensure that the Stone Edge technician has the necessary access and permissions on your computer systems and networks to perform modifications to databases and to install new programs on your servers and/or individual workstations.
