Affordable ECommerce Tools for Small to Medium Merchants

System Requirements

Software Requirements

You will need a full copy of Microsoft Access on each computer that runs the Order Manager program. A computer that is used as a file server (to store the Order Manager data) does not require Access unless you also want to use that computer as a workstation. The Order Manager is compatible with the following versions of Microsoft Access:

  • Microsoft Access 2000 with Service Pack 3
  • Microsoft Access XP (2002) with Service Pack 3
  • Microsoft Access 2003 with Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3 with the Hotfix
  • Microsoft Access 2007
  • Microsoft Access 2010

Note: Service packs and “hot fixes” are provided by Microsoft.

  • .Net Framework Version 2.0

User Licenses

The Order Manager Standard and Plus POS Editions include licenses for use on up to 5 workstations. The Order Manager Enterprise Edition includes a 10 workstation license. Additional licenses can be purchased here.

Shopping Cart Licenses

The Order Manager comes with a license to use it with one type of shopping cart (such as Yahoo, Miva Merchant, Magento, etc.) The one license lets you use the Order Manager with as many shopping carts of that type as you wish. To use the Order Manager with other shopping cart types, a license is required for each. Additional shopping cart licenses are available here for a one-time fee of $350 each. Several cart types also require special software or services that add additional costs. Those cases are noted in the list of cart types below.

The following list only includes shopping carts where support is limited to specific versions or that require additional software. If a supported shopping cart is not listed below, the Order Manager is compatible with all versions of that cart. For a list of all carts that are compatible with the Order Manager, click here.
