Returns and exchanges can be a major headache for busy merchants. The Order Manager can help by providing the tools and flexibility you need to handle returns and exchanges efficiently.
Here are some of the features and capabilities of the Order Manager’s system for Returns, Exchanges and RMAs:
- Returns and exchanges can be handled with or without generating RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations).
- Returns can include some or all of the line items from an order, and some or all of the quantity from each line item.
- You can exchange the returned item(s) for any number of new items to be shipped.
- New orders are automatically generated for shipping exchange items.
- Exchange orders can be created right away, when the first returned item is received or when all returned items have been received.
- Apply any combination of Restocking Fees, Shipping Credits for returning items, Exchange Fees and Shipping Charges for sending exchange items.
- Fees and credits can be applied right away, when the first returned item is received or when all returned items have been received.
- Fees and credits can be flat dollar amounts or based on the number of units returned or a percentage of their prices.
- Track returned items as they are received.
- Email notices can be sent automatically when RMAs are created and/or when returned items are received.
- Print reports of outstanding RMAs.
