Import / Export Capabilities

Order Manager data is open and accessible, and the program includes many ways to import and export information.

With some order management systems your data is stored in a proprietary or encrypted form. With Web-based systems it’s stored somewhere in a “cloud” where you don’t have direct access to it.  With the Order Manager, everything* is open and accessible and in industry standard database formats:  Microsoft Access for the Standard and Plus POS Editions, Microsoft SQL Server for the Enterprise Edition.

Built-in Import Functions

  • Import orders from over 40 shopping cart systems
  • Import customers and products directly from some shopping carts
  • Import customers, products and suppliers from text files and Access databases
  • Import customers, products and chart-of-accounts from Quickbooks
  • Import cost and price changes from text files and Access databases
  • Import order tracking data from text files

Built-in Export Functions

  • Export accounting data to Quickbooks
  • Export customers and products to text files
  • Export order status and tracking data to some shopping carts
  • Export order status and tracking data to the Stone Edge Order Status System
  • Export shipping data for use with other shipping programs
  • Export drop ship purchase orders
  • Export orders to fulfillment centers

Using Custom Functions and 3rd Party Programs

  • Easy interface with UPS Worldship, Fedex Ship Manager and other shipping systems
    • Import shipping information from Order Manager data
    • Export tracking data back to your Order Manager data
  • Custom programs can easily access Order Manager data. Data is in industry standard database formats:
    • Microsoft Access for the Standard and Plus POS Editions.
    • Microsoft SQL Server for the Order Manager Enterprise Edition.
