Stone Edge does not support the new FedEx API for ShipManager Direct software; therefore, Monsoon Commerce, Inc. provides a free license of ZFirm's ShipRush software to allow its users to continue to print FedEx shipping labels through Stone Edge.
Contact the Stone Edge Sales department (484-927-4804 or sales@stoneedge.com) to obtain a license key and instructions for downloading the ShipRush software from our Web site.
ShipRush Version 7.5 or greater is suitable for sending FedEx shipments.
ShipRush Version 8.0 or greater should be used if sending UPS shipments.
Stone
Edge does not support Stamps.com for printing USPS shipping labels through
ShipRush. ShipRush is phasing
out the ability to use Endicia DAZzle for printing USPS shipping labels,
therefore it will be necessary to use the direct Stone Edge-Endicia DAZzle
integration to print USPS shipping labels through the Order Manager.
Some areas of the program print shipping labels immediately without displaying the ShipRush interface, while others open the Stone Edge ShipRush Entry screen before a shipping label is printed.
When the ShipRush interface is open, shipping labels are directed to the printer specified in the ShipRush settings.

Beginning in Order Manager V5.929, rate shopping is now available through the ShipRush integration, just as it is with the other integrated carrier shipping solutions.
If ShipRush for FedEx is implemented, the user may detect a slowdown in rate shop response times from the Order Manager's Shipping Rates (Rate Shop) screen as the program will now be using the ShipRush system to get the rate information from FedEx, rather than using the current FedEx API integration (which FedEx plans to retire as of 5/31/2012).
An alternative method for obtaining rate information quickly is to use the Available Services button on the ShipRush Shipping screen, which simultaneously provides rate information for multiple shipping methods from the specified carrier for a given package. For ShipRush for FedEx users, this method is much faster than the results received by the Order Manager's Shipping Rates (Rate Shop) screen.
A combined packing slip and shipping label report is now available for UPS and FedEx shipments processed through ShipRush. To use this report, set system parameters ShipRushFedExPrinting and/or ShipRushUPSPrinting to TRUE.
ShipRush provides the ability to send multiple box shipments so that the shipping labels reflect the sequence number of the box and the total number of boxes in the shipment
Contact Stone Edge Sales Department for a free license code and download access from the Stone Edge gateway.
Download and install ShipRush on your workstation. Follow the instructions in the email sent from Stone Edge. Windows Vista or Windows 7 users should right-click and select Run As Administrator when installing the software.
When prompted, elect to use the standalone version rather than the networked version.
Configure the ShipRush software with your company information and preferences.
Refer to the email sent from Stone Edge and enter licensing information into ShipRush.
Refer to Z-Firm's Web site for more information about configuring ShipRush for FedEx.
The
function of the system parameter ShippingSystem
has been broken down into separate parameters for each of the major carriers:

The system parameters in the Packing group are now solely used to determine if a carrier is usable at one of the Packing forms (Pack & Ship or QuickShip). As a result of this change, the Order Manager is now able to support the use of both ShipRush for FedEx and the integrated UPS OnLine Tools shipping software simultaneously.
In the Order Manager, go to Maintenance Menu > Set System Parameters; or Quick Clicks> System Parameters
Set the following parameters if they apply to your shipping carrier or carriers:

Repeat the steps above for any other Order Manager store data file that is configured to use ShipRush.
If the user maintains more than one Order Manager store data file and uses different FedEx or UPS accounts for each, they will have to enter the company-specific information in the carrier-related system parameters of each store data file as well as in the ShipRush application.
