XML Error Message when Importing Orders via osCommerce Script

Background

Importing orders via osCommerce import script generates the error message:

"XML Error: [ Notice: Uninitialized String Offset: . . . ] - XML Header missing from this download! Cannot continue."

Cause

This is a problem inherent with osCommerce stores running PHP5.

Solution

Download and install the latest version of the osCommerce import script. Go to the download gateway page, enter your username and password (the same username and password you received in an email from Stone Edge Technologies, Inc. when you purchased the Order Manager) and click Continue. Click on the appropriate link and follow the prompts.
