Troubleshooting the Order Manager

To troubleshoot an issue, please consider the following:

  1. What are you trying to do in the Order Manager?
For example, are you importing orders, processing a credit card, exporting inventory or printing reports?

  2. Can you repeat the error?
Unless you can repeat the error, do not concern yourself with it.  If you can repeat the error, try to determine what causes the error to occur.

It is normal for the Order Manager to be in constant communication with the Internet. A brief lapse in your internet connectivity could yield an unexpected error or cause lag-time (when the program "hangs" or is unresponsive) while the program is attempting online communication.

  1. Was there an error message?
You may see two kinds of error messages, an Order Manager error message or a Microsoft error message. If you see a Microsoft error message, simply rebooting your computer may resolve the issue.

Order Manager error messages as well as common known issues can be resolved using the articles found in this Knowledge Base.
