HTTP Error 12057

Problem

 

Attempting to communicate with a payment gateway from the CC Terminal tab on the View Orders screen generates an error message similar to the following:

"HTTP Error 12057 cannot perform Internet function for AuthNet Send" (where AuthNet is the name of your payment gateway).

 

Solution

 

Go to Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab>Security options group and uncheck the box next to option, "Check for server certificate revocation".   (requires restart of Internet Explorer to take effect)
