Error Message "Project Contains a Missing or Broken Reference"

Background

 
Opening the Order Manager generates an error message:
 
"Project contains a missing or broken reference to..."
 
 
Cause
 

Uninstalling UPS WorldShip un-registers the DAO360.dll control used by the Order Manager to access the database.

 
 
Solution
 
Re-register the control.
  1. Exit the Order Manager and close Microsoft Access.

  1. Go to Start>Run and enter:
 

Regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\dao360.dll"

 

  1. If the file dao360.dll is not found, search for the file and revise the path above accordingly.

 

  1. If the file still is not found, contact Stone Edge Technologies, Inc. to get a copy of the file via email. Save the file to the default location above.

 

  1. Open the Order Manager to confirm the fix was successful.
