Cannot Exchange Inventory Data with Miva Merchant

Background

When the user attempts to import inventory from Miva Merchant, the error message "Error: Count not open the QOHCount file" is displayed. Or, when the user attempts to upload Quantity On Hand data to Miva Merchant, the error message "Unexpected error [SETIENDOFDATA] - Did not upload QOH!' is displayed.

Cause

These errors can occur when the user runs the Stone Edge Miva Merchant Export Module and Viking Coders' Inventory Management inventory tracking module simultaneously, which in some cases corrupts the inv_cnt.dbf file in Miva Merchant.

Solution

All inventory tracking must be done in Inventory Manager; the user cannot track inventory in both Miva Merchant and Inventory Manager. Contact Stone Edge Technical Support to replace the inv_cnt.dbf file and install a customized Export Module that does not access the inv_cnt.dbf file.
