Manually Registering ActiveX Controls and DLLs

The Order Manager relies on numerous ActiveX controls and DLLs to handle some complex functionality. Below is the list of these controls: 

• capicom.dll
• CommStudio.ocx
• ctdate.ocx
• cthtml.ocx
• cttree.ocx
• DartSock.dll
• DartZip.dll
• DartZipLite.dll
• EMailer.dll
• LTCML13n.dll
• SETree01.ocx
• TList8.ocx
• YSI.dll

Upon installing the program, the Order Manager attempts to register these components automatically. Occasionally the files are not registered because the user logged into the computer has the wrong permissions or the program was installed improperly.

Solution

Follow these steps to register the components:

1. Check the StoneEdge installation directory, e.g., c:\StoneEdge, for each of the files listed above.

2. Click "Start" then "Run" on the Windows start menu.

3. Enter the following text exactly as it appears below:
   
   regsvr32.exe "c:\StoneEdge\ctdate.ocx" /u

4. Click OK.

5. Enter the following text exactly as it appears below:
   regsvr32.exe "c:\StoneEdge\ctdate.ocx"

6. Click OK.

7. If the registration is successful, you will see the following message box:

8. Repeat steps 1 through 6 for each component listed above.
