If the UPS setup did not complete correctly, you can create the ODBC connection from the Windows Control Panel.
Create an ODBC Connection in Windows
Click on the Start Menu.
Select Settings/Control Panel.
Double click the ODBC data sources icon (found under Administrative Tools in Windows XP) to open the ODBC Data Source Administrator.
Click on the System DSN tab.
Click on the Add button.
Select Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) from the drivers list.
Enter
the name you want to use for the data source. Make it something fairly
easy like, MyStoreData or OrderImportData.
NOTE: Remember the name you enter here, you will need it in later steps.
Click on the Select button to navigate to the location of the Order Manager’s data file (your store’s data file). If you are unsure of the name or location of the data file used by the Order Manager, press CTRL+SHIFT+C at the Main Menu. This will bring up a window with details on the file names and locations used by the Order Manager. Look for the entry "Order Manager Data File". This will give you the name and path information for your store’s data file.
Find and select the Order Manager’s data file. Make sure that the Read Only and Exclusive options are NOT checked then click on the OK button. The path for the data file will appear in the ODBC Microsoft Access Setup window next to "Database:".
Click on the OK button to return to the System DSN tab.
Click on OK to exit the ODBC Data Source Administrator.
