The Order Manager includes hundreds of "System Parameters" that can be used to configure the program the way you want it to work. To change a system parameter, go to the Maintenance Menu> Set System Parameters.
For ease of use, the system parameters are divided into "Parameter Groups" with related functions. Here are the parameters in the USPS group:

USPSAdvanceShipDays |
Used for Rate Lookups only! Set this parameter to advance current date by this number of days for rate lookups. Represents the estimated date of shipment for the USPS rating system. |

USPSAdvanceShipTime |
Used for Rate Lookups only! Set this parameter to estimated Ship Time for rate lookups. Represents the estimated time of shipment for the USPS rating system. Must be in HH:MM format (Hours and Minutes in Military Time format). |

USPSAltMailingZip |
Set to the zip code from where you will be mailing the package if different from the default. |
| USPSDefaultServiceType | Set to the default service type to use for the USPS WebTools Delivery Confirmation. |
| USPSFromEmail | Enter a valid email address to be used in the confirmation email to the customer from U.S.P.S. |
| USPSFromName | Enter the business name or personal name that the package will be coming from. This is to be included in the email sent from USPS to the customer. |
| USPSFromZip | Enter the default 5-digit zipcode that the package will be shipped from. |
| USPSLabelTemplate | Select the Type of delivery confirmation label to use for USPS |
| USPSMailFromAltZip | Set to True to establish default setting on the Get USPS Tracking number form. If set to True, also set USPSAltMailingZip to the zip code from where you will be mailing the package. |
| USPSPassword | Enter the password used to access the United States Postal Service system. |

USPSRateLookupURL |
URL for GetMailRates function. Only has to change if USPS changes their system. As of 1/6/10, USPS has changed the URL to "http://postcalc.usps.gov/MailServices.aspx?Country=Domestic&CountryIndex=1&P=" (do not include the quotes). New users of OM V5.907 will not need to make any changes to this parameter, however, existing customers will need to manually make this change. |

USPSSendConfirmation |
Set to True to notify the USPS system to send an email confirmation to the customer. |
| USPSServerURL | Enter the URL to the Shipping Server provided to you by U.S.P.S. |
| USPSTestMode | Set to True if you want to retrieve test tracking numbers. Set to False to retrieve actual tracking numbers from U.S.P.S. |
| USPSUserID | Enter the user name used to access the United States Postal Service system. |
