Installing the Subscription Manager

The Subscription Manager requires Order Manager version 3.701 or higher. The latest version of the program is available to customers with a current Extended Support Contract. You can purchase a new Extended Support Contract on our Website or by calling the Sales department at (610) 994-3699.

 

  1. After purchasing the Subscription Manager, download it from our Website.

  2. Save the zip file, named SESubMan2002.zip or SESubMan2000.zip, to the same location as the Order Manager's store data file, e.g. c:\StoneEdge or \\fileserver\stoneedgedata.

  3. Unzip the file to the same location used in step 2.

  4. Go to the Main Menu>Maintenance Menu>Set System Parameters. The Set System Parameters dialog box opens.

  5. Click on the Program parameter group. Refer to the Knowledge Base article, Set System Parameters for instructions.

  6. Set UseSubscriptionManager to True and click Save.

  7. Click Close to exit the Set System Parameters dialog box.

  8. Exit the Order Manager and then re-start the program.

  9. A new Subscription Manager button or icon is added to the Main Menu, depending on the version of the Order Manager that is installed.

  1. Click the new button or icon to open the Subscription Manager.
