Note: This information is based on Ship Manager v.2285. The information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of 04/01/2006.

See the Using FedEx Ship Manager section below for directions on how to use Ship Manager once you have performed the set up.
Setting Up FedEx Ship Manager
In Ship Manager, click on the Integration>FedEx Integration Assistant.

At the Welcome>Introduction screen, click Continue.

At the Welcome>Before You Begin screen, click Continue.

At the Begin>Create screen, click Create a New Profile and then click Continue.
At the Begin>Integration Type screen, select Both Import and Export and then click Continue.


After you click on the ODBC Data Source Administrator link, a dialog box opens. Click on MS Access Database and click Add.

Click Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) and then click Finish.

Enter a Data Source Name: and a Description. Click Select.

Locate your Order Manager data file. Click on the file name and then click OK.

The path of the database is displayed on the dialog box. Click OK.

Your data source appears in the list. Click OK.

Your view returns to the Import>Source screen. Select your data source from the list and click Continue.

Answer the questions on the Import>Shipping screen. The recommended settings are:
Do you print Labels one at a time? Yes
Do you use a unique name or code to look up each package? Yes
Do you need to edit shipping information before printing the label? Yes
Click Continue.

At the Import>Lookup
screen, click After I enter a Customer
Reference and then click Continue.

At the Import>Information screen, click on Package.

The field list dialog box opens. Select the following fields and click OK.

The field list dialog box opens. Select the following fields and click OK.

The field list dialog box opens. Select the Residential Delivery Flag field and click OK. Click Continue.
At the Import>Match screen, map the fields based on the table below. Click Continue.

You are prompted to select the key or index field for the WorldShipOrders table. Click on OrderNumber and click OK.

If the name for a particular
shipping method in the Order Manager is different from the name used in
FedEx Ship Manager, you can convert your shipping method name so that
they match. Click on a field on the left to display the To and From fields.
Click one of the FedEx Ship Manager labels and then select its equivalent
in the Order Manager in the drop down list next to it. When you are finished,
click Continue.

At the Export>Destination screen, if it is not selected already, select ODBC>[Your Data Source Name] and then click Continue.

At the Export>Method screen, click At the end of day and Insert a new record. Click Continue.

At the Export>Information screen, click on Package. Select the ShipDate and Reference fields. Click OK.

Click on Tracking Number. Select the Tracking Number field and click OK. Click Continue.

At the Export>Match screen, map the fields based on the table below. Click Continue.

At the Finish>Summary
screen, click Continue.

At the Finish>Instructions screen, click Finish. You are prompted to save the new profile; click Yes. Name the profile OrderManager. Click OK.

You use the Integration Profile to import shipping data from the Order
Manager. To perform the import, open FedEx Ship Manager:
