Vista Known Issues

The method by which the
Order Manager communicates with Linkpoint credit card processing services
is incompatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7. Stone Edge is currently
researching possible solutions for this problem.

Worldship is now compatible with Microsoft Vista, see the UPS web site
for version specific information. The majority of other issues mentioned
on this page have been resolved by installing the latest version of the
Order Manager; installing the latest service packs from Microsoft for
Microsoft Access 2007 and Microsoft Vista; and by following the version
appropriate instructions found in the following knowledge base articles:

Vista and Access 2007 known issues with the Stone Edge Order Manager

-Incompatible with WorldShip at this time.
As of 5/11/2007
-Installation errors occur when installing
5.0 or higher. (Solution: designate a different folder for temp
files for installation)
-Slow networking speeds. (Solution: turn off
Remote Differential Compression)
-User Access Controls can prevent or slow installation
or use of Order Manager
Access 2007
-compatibility issues with Access 97 format
database files. (Solution: convert files if possible)
-Security system prevents Order Manager from
working properly. (Solution: turn off security for macros in Access 2007)
-Most parts of the Purchase Orders screen do
not work properly; will only show 1 PO at a time.
-Quantity discounts do not show up in Order
Manager on the Inventory screen, but still appear to work.
