Blackthorne System Parameters

This article contains the parameters for integrating an eBay/Blackthorne shopping cart with the Order Manager.

To open the System Parameters screen, go to Maintenance Menu> Maintenance Tab>Set System Parameters>Go. Select eBay from the Parameter Group drop-down list to view the cart-specific parameters in the Parameters in Selected Group window.

Click the appropriate link below to see the parameters associated with the version of Order Manager that is installed:

Version 5.612 and lower

Version 5.8 and above

eBay Blackthorne Parameters for Version 5.612 and below:

Note: The system parameter EbayProgram must be set to Blackthorne before the Order Manager shopping cart definition can be created.

The parameters related to Blackthorne are:

EbayProgram - Must be set to Blackthorne
SAPImportLoc - The location of the Blackthorne database (BTData.mdb)

The other parameters shown in the figure above are related to eBay Seller Central shopping carts and do not need to be set for Blackthorne carts.

eBay Blackthorne Parameters for Version 5.8 and above:

The parameters related to Blackthorne are:

eBayExportDuringStatusUpdate - Export status changes to eBay automatically when a selected status has been reached in OM?
eBayShowAdjustmentFees - Show invoice adjustment surcharges in an order option field?
eBayShowHandlingFees - Show handling fees in an order option field?
eBayShowInsurance - Show insurance fees in an order option field?
eBayShowNotes - Import sales notes from Blackthorne?

All of these parameters are set to False by default. The user can change them to suit the business needs by selecting the radio button labeled True (Yes) in the Parameter Value section of the screen and then clicking the Save button.
