The Adjust Inventory dialog box opens.

Note: The Reasons for Adjustments drop down lists and the Adjustment Made By drop down list are not visible if the TrackInventoryAdjustments  system parameter in the Program group is set to False, i.e. you don't care why adjustments were made or who made them.

The Starting Quantity and Final Quantity are set to the current quantity on hand. If you enter a Quantity to Add or Quantity to Subtract, those amounts are added or subtracted from the Final Quantity. You can manually adjust the Final Quantity if you prefer.

If you are tracking inventory adjustments, i.e. the TrackInventoryAdjustments  system parameter in the Program group is set to True, you must enter the reasons for the Adjustment and the name of the person making the adjustment. Click OK to save your changes. Click Cancel to exit the Adjust Inventory dialog box without making any changes.
