Doubles User Base in Two Years
2,000
E-Retailers Have Selected the Stone Edge Order Manager to Automate and
Streamline Their Operations
PLYMOUTH MEETING,
Pa., February 13, 2008--Stone Edge Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of
e-commerce software for small to medium Web retailers, has sold 2,000 copies of
the Stone Edge Order Manager, a complete back-office management system for
single and multichannel merchants.
The Stone Edge Order Manager was developed in 2001 as a simple program for
importing orders and printing invoices and packing slips. Since that time, the
application has evolved into a comprehensive tool for e-commerce business
management, supporting all major shopping carts, credit card gateways, and
shipping vendors. In 2005, Stone Edge reached the 1,000 customer milestone. In
the two years since then, the company has seen remarkable growth and doubled its
user base to 2,000 customers.
“Our rapid growth is due to the increasing number of companies that are running
successful retail businesses online,” says Barney Stone, president of Stone Edge
Technologies. “As a Web retailer builds his business and order volume grows,
automated order management becomes essential. The Order Manager provides an
affordable solution for small to medium retailers that’s highly customizable and
can be scaled to a company with a 50,000 square-foot warehouse, or an individual
running a business out his home.”
Other new features in Stone Edge’s Order Manager Version 5 include support for
more shopping cart systems, including CommerceV3, 3DCart, Modular Merchant, eBay
ProStores and PDG Cart, and additional credit card gateways, including
CyberSource, LinkPoint and QuickBooks Merchant Services. There is also an
enhanced RMA system for managing returns and exchanges, and numerous
improvements in the “Manual Orders” screen where phone, fax and mail orders are
entered.
Order Manager Version Five is currently available from
www.stoneedge.com. Prices begin at $1,500
for the Standard Version, which includes five workstation licenses and extended
support and updates. The Enterprise Version, designed for companies with larger
volume and staff, sells for $6,000 and includes ten workstation licenses and a
year of support and updates.
