Stone Edge’s Order
Manager for Web Retailers Adds Support for CommerceV3, U-PIC & Assurz
Stone Edge 2007 User Conference Scheduled for June 2-3
BLUE BELL, PA
(May 31, 2007) – Stone Edge Technologies, Inc. today announced that the
Stone Edge Order Manager, the leading business management program for small to
mid-sized Web retailers, is now integrated with the CommerceV3 shopping cart
system, U-PIC discounted package insurance, and the Assurz 100% Satisfaction
Guarantee third-party refund service. These newest integrations will be
announced at the Stone Edge 2007 User Conference being held June 2 and 3 in San
Jose.
Highlights of the
conference will include a “Shopping Cart Shoot-Out” where attendees will compare
notes on the pros and cons of different shopping cart systems; accounting
consultant Roxanne Brown speaking on “Getting the Most Out Of QuickBooks with
The Stone Edge Order Manager;” and SEO expert Nathan Focht offering insights on
search engine optimization in “SEO–the Do-It-Yourself Bootcamp.” There will also
be separate workshops and roundtable discussions for new and “power” users of
the Order Manager.
The Stone Edge
Order Manager is used by nearly 2,000 online merchants to automate and
streamline their operations. The application can import orders from about 30
shopping cart systems including MonsterCommerce, Cart32 and osCommerce, as well
as other sales channels including Amazon, eBay and Shop.com. It also handles
orders from a built-in Point-of-Sale system and those that arrive via mail, fax
or email. It tracks inventory, processes payments, helps with picking, packing
and shipping, and otherwise simplifies the process of running a small online
business.
The newest
integrations offered by the Stone Edge Order Manager include:
-
CommerceV3
(www.commercev3.com), an on-demand e-commerce service that allows
multi-channel merchants to create, populate, customize, maintain and track
e-commerce storefronts without in-house software or servers. The
application, the online store, the staging area and everything else is
entirely hosted in a Tier 1 Data Center connected directly to the Internet.
-
U-PIC (www.u-pik.com),
discounted package insurance for packages shipped via major carriers such as
UPS, FedEx and the U.S. Postal Service. The package is shipped by the
carrier but insured by U-PIC at a cost that is 60 to 80% less than
conventional insurance. Programs are available for shippers of every size
with no minimum requirements.
-
Assurz (www.assurz.com),
a third-party shopper satisfaction guarantee service designed to drive sales
for online merchants. The Assurz 100% Satisfaction Guarantee enables online
stores with limited return policies to offer an extended 90-day evaluation
period with a full refund of merchandise and shipping charges as well as
free return shipping and packaging. Assurz pays all costs and procedures
related to the guarantee, including the consumer’s refund.
The fourth annual
Stone Edge User Conference & Meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in
San Jose. The meeting was scheduled to directly precede the 2007 Internet
Retailer Conference and Exhibition that will be held June 4-7 at the nearby San
Jose Convention Center, so User Conference attendees can easily attend both
events. Stone Edge Technologies will also be exhibiting at the 2007 Internet
Retailer Conference in Booth 1023.
