System Requirements
User Licenses
The Order Manager Standard and Plus POS
versions include licensing for 5
workstations. The Order Manager Enterprise Version includes 10 workstation licenses.
Additional licenses can be purchased here.

*Access 2007 is supported with Version 5.5 or higher of the Stone Edge
Order Manager.
Shopping Cart Licenses
The purchase of the Order Manager includes one
shopping cart license. A shopping cart license is issued for a specific type
of shopping cart (e.g. Yahoo, Miva Merchant, ShopSite, etc). You can setup as many shopping carts of the same type
as you wish with one shopping cart
license. If you intend to setup multiple shopping cart types, a license is
required for each. Additional shopping cart licenses are available for
a one-time fee of $350.
The following shopping cart versions are supported. The Order
Manager is compatible with all versions of shopping carts not listed below.
Able Commerce
- Able Commerce 3.0 Cold Fusion only
- Able 4.3 ASP and Cold Fusion
- Able 5.2 and 5.5 ASP.net, (Cold Fusion coming
soon)
Amazon Seller Central
WASH (the Wrinklebrain Amazon Soap Handler) is required for two way
communications with Amazon Seller Central. WASH is NOT compatible with
Windows Vista.

The Stone Edge Order Manager Enterprise Version:
Point of Sales Hardware (Optional)
- Magnetic Stripe Readers:
Two track (minimum) with a user definable prefix & suffix (header & terminator)
for each track.
- Barcode Scanner:
Must allow for programming of a user definable prefix & suffix.
- Cash Drawers:
An executable "trigger" file that will send open commands to the drawer. Some cash drawers receive open commands from special encodings on receipts
printed through a compatible receipt printer. This type of cash drawers can be
used but will require custom programming of the Point of Sale Invoice.
- Receipt Printers:
Any Windows compatible printer -
Note: Custom programming of the Point of Sale
Invoice may be required to suite your final printer margins and paper
type.
- Barcode Printers:
Any Windows compatible printer -
Note: The readability of barcodes depends
greatly on the resolution of the printer and the quality and size of the labels
being printed on. Inkjet printers are not recommended. Custom programming of
the barcode label reports may be required to suit your label type.

tab-delimited or CSV (comma separated values) text file.
Note:
A valid UPS and/or FedEx account is required for real-time Tracking, Rate & Service
Selection.
Email
One of the following is required:
- An email client (Outlook, Eudora, Outlook
Express, etc.) installed and configured on each PC that will send emails
through the Order Manager
- A valid SMTP server. Required for
sending HTML encoded emails and for bulk
e-mailing.
